Prenatal Care

Initial Prenatal Care

One of the most important things you can do during pregnancy is getting the prenatal care you need. This will help create the best possible odds for a healthy pregnancy, a healthy mom, and a healthy baby.

It is best for you to get your prenatal care started as soon as you find out you are pregnant, even if you are unsure of what your pregnancy decision will be.

At our center, we have a partnership with Centering Pregnancy that allows us to offer a FREE initial prenatal visit to clients with a positive pregnancy test, as long as their situation is not high-risk.

Your first prenatal appointment includes testing for STIs (sexually transmitted infections), a pelvic exam, bloodwork and urine testing. You will see a nurse practitioner. At our center, you will see a nurse and a nurse practitioner. You can then transition your care to continue with the Centering Pregnancy Prenatal Care program or continue on with a local OB/GYN.

Our goal is to provide services that will help our clients get the care they need as soon as they find out they are pregnant.

Our services are not intended to be a substitute for licensed professional counseling, or for either routine or emergency medical or prenatal care. Individuals who believe they are experiencing a medical emergency should call 9-1-1 and seek care from the nearest emergency room.
