Pre-abortion assessment and consultation.

When considering an abortion, your health and safety is important to us. We are here to help you sort through all of your questions and concerns. You can make your own, informed decision.

At your appointment, you will meet with a nurse who may provide you with a free OB Ultrasound to confirm a viable pregnancy and estimate how far along you are. Finding out how far along your pregnancy is is important if you are considering abortion.

Pre-Abortion Assessment:

  • Clinical Pregnancy Testing and Verification
  • Limited OB Ultrasound
  • Gestational Age Determination
  • Complete Pregnancy and Abortion Options Consultation
  • Pre- and Post-Abortion Patient Education

It is important to have an ultrasound before making a decision about your pregnancy. An ultrasound is the most effective way for you to learn more about your pregnancy and options. Medical services are provided free of charge by licensed medical personnel. We provide abortion clinic alternative services. We do not provide or refer for abortion services.

There are two main types of abortion

Medication abortion also called the abortion pill, can be taken up to 70 days (10 weeks pregnant). The pill ( two drugs, mifepristone and misoprostol) is taken in two doses, one typically at a doctor’s office and the other at home.
There are several types of surgical abortions. Suction aspiration, also called suction curettage, or vacuum aspiration abortion, is performed during the first 6 to 16 weeks gestational stage. Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) is another type of procedure typically done in later weeks. Both types have risks and side-effects and greatly vary depending on your gestation and health.

Know your options. Be educated.
